My Dry Creekbed
I'm making a dry creekbed in my backyard. I'll post pictures in progress as I work on it. Here's the first picture of the yard where I'm placing it. This is before I've done any work at all as you see. Oh well, I can't find it right now. I'll post it later.

Gardening
Yesterday I had a wonderful day of working in the yard. I mowed the backyard, cleaned off the deck. Today I had planned to do more, but it rained, so I wrote instead. I've been posting lots of gardening articles on suite101 http://landscaping.suite101.com/article.cfm/how-to-build-rain-garden

Spring is finally here
The sun is shining, and I can finally stop fretting about the weather. I've already started doing some planting. I love to garden, and I'm going to start a cottage garden in both the front and back yards. The lawns are a lost cause so to heck with them. I like flowers better anyway. The best things in life, if not free, cost very little, like flower seeds.
